THE GUIDE: Southern California Resources for the Disabilities Community

The Guide: Resources for the Disabilities Community is designed to assist people who are disabled and their family and friends to find services and resources to improve their lives. We hope you find it useful.

The Guide is a work-in-progress. If you know of a resource that would be of interest to the disabilities community, please e-mail it to gwilson@heimberglaw.com.

Many national organizations have local chapters; you may find this information on the web sites listed in The Guide; if not, ask for contact information when you call or e-mail the national organization.

If there is not a local chapter near you, consider starting one. The national organization is usually willing to help you with advice and information on how to start a local chapter.
